Twice a year, Microsoft releases feature updates for Windows 10. Here are the updates of the April 2018 Update (formerly known as Spring Creators).
The latest update from Microsoft to Windows 10 is here, and the first big news is the name change: what was known as Windows 10 Spring Creators Update has now been named Windows Update April 10, 2018. (Yes, it is true.) That may sound boring, but at least it tells you what version you are running to solve problems. Now, the version is included directly in the name.
Thanks to the extensive Windows Insider beta program of the company, many people have known the news for more than a month. You may be-or not-eager to update yourself; that depends on where your weak points are.

For example, Windows 10 now offers a more granular flexibility, similar to that of a mobile device in its do not disturb mode (called Focus Assist, a modified version of Quiet Hours) and the implementation of the Timeline device-handoff feature announced Year during Build, which aims to replace the virtual desktop manager. There are also some notable changes in the configuration, which include privacy and security, notifications, password recovery and defaults.
The update begins to be implemented on Monday, April 30. A limited number of users will receive the update that day; everyone else will see that the update will be available the following week. If you have automatic updates enabled, you will be notified when the update is available to you.
