Egypt’s football star Mohamed Salah is set to travel to Spain this week for medical treatment as he seeks to recover in time for the FIFA World Cup.

Mohamed Salah is set to travel to Spain for medical treatment

The record-setting Liverpool forward was forced off in the half-hour mark of the Champions League final against Real Madrid, after he landed awkwardly under a challenge from Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. Being unable to continue, the tearful Salah was replaced by Adam Lallana for the rest of the game.

Liverpool went on to lose the game 3-1, earning the Spanish giants their third consecutive Champions League title and their 13th overall.

The worrying injury prompted concerns, not just among Egyptians, but Africans at large. Salah however moved to Twitter to express his optimism that he will join his fellow Pharaohs to Russia.

He will now seek medical treatment in Spain, where he will be accompanied by Liverpool’s doctors.

The FIFA World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 14, as 32 teams battle for honors in the World’s biggest football tournament.

Egypt is among five African teams that will also feature in the games. They are joined by Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria and Morocco.

The Pharaohs are pooled alongside host Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay in Group A. They play their first game against the South Americans on 15 June.
The rumors about the possibility that Apple began in the car business has subsisted over the years. In 2014 the first data was known and since then much has happened in Cupertino, although the bad news is what has reigned in the attempts to develop an Apple Car.

Apple works with Volkswagen in autonomous cars

Well, a new report by The New York Times sheds some light on Apple's interests in an autonomous car. The newspaper assures that the company of Cupertino has closed an agreement with Volkswagen for the design of a van type "van" autonomous that will serve for the transfer of its employees within its facilities.

The aim is to transform the T6 Trasnporter into an autonomous vehicle. The report indicates that it is most likely that the product's engineers are incorporating into this vehicle the driving technology developed by the company's laboratories.

When it was known about the Project Titan , with which Apple would launch its own vehicle on the roads of the world, engineers from companies such as Tesla were hired by the company. According to the source, at its best this team had up to 1,000 people working on the project that suffered so many missteps that it was falling apart along the way.

First Apple tried to develop its own vehicles tried by big manufacturers like BMW or Mercedes Benz to manufacture it. However, the company encountered the problem that pursues him in this and other negotiations: his need to seize the product, to be the brand for the client, would have made those companies say "no", according to the Times.

Apple tried it with several manufacturers without coming to fruition, and after the project was reduced - the company even valued manufacturing its own parts in the United States to avoid relying on third parties - the project team was reduced to engineers who they developed an autonomous driving system, which the company has been testing so far.

The source does not know if Volkswagen could be the partner that Apple needed to be able to sell its vehicles with its own brand. The German company is not at its best, after the scandal of manipulation of carbon dioxide levels, which not only drove its actions or its prestige, but it confronts it in the courts to demands all over the world.

At the moment only this project of autonomous vehicles for the Apple campuses is known but ... could Volkswagen be the manufacturer that makes the dreams of Cupertino a reality?

Unai Emery unveiled as Arsenal new coach

Arsenal on Wednesday unveiled Unai Emery as the head coach, taking over from long-serving French tactician Arsene Wenger whose reign came to an end earlier this month.

Emery, 46, joins the North London side from Paris Saint Germain, whom he guided to five domestic cups in two years.

Arsenal had said they would move quick to appoint a replacement for Wenger after he announced in April that he would leave at the end of the season.

“Unai has an outstanding track record of success throughout his career, has developed some of the best young talent in Europe and plays an exciting, progressive style of football that fits Arsenal perfectly,” Arsenal’s chief executive Ivan Gazidis said of Emery.

“His hard-working and passionate approach and his sense of values on and off the pitch make him the ideal person to take us forward.”

Emery takes over at The Emirates at a time when there is growing pressure to win a Premier League title.

The Gunners last won the Premiership in 2004.

Generally, in Wenger’s 22 years in charge, the North Londoners won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, including the Double in 1998 and 2002.
3 Ebola patients escape form Congo quarantine, Hospital

Three patients infected with the deadly Ebola virus escaped from a hospital holding them in quarantine in the Congo city of Mbandaka, an aid group said, as medics raced to stop the disease spreading in the teeming river port.

Two of the patients got out on Monday but were found dead a day later, said Henri Gray, the head of the Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) mission in the city.

Another left on Saturday, but was found alive the same day and is now under observation, Gray added.

“This is a hospital. It’s not a prison. We can’t lock everything,” he said.

The report came as the World Health Organization warned that the fight to stop Democratic Republic of Congo’s ninth confirmed outbreak of the hemorrhagic fever had reached a critical point.

“The next few weeks will really tell if this outbreak is going to expand to urban areas or if we’re going to be able to keep it under control,” WHO’s emergency response chief Peter Salama told ministers and diplomats in Geneva.

“We’re on the epidemiological knife edge of this response,” he added at the U.N. body’s annual assembly.

Health officials are particularly concerned by the disease’s presence in Mbandaka, a crowded trading hub upstream from Congo’s capital, Kinshasa, a city of some 10 million people. The river also runs along the border with the Republic of Congo.

The outbreak, which was first spotted near the town of Bikoro, about 100 km (60 miles) south of the city, is believed to have killed at least 27 people so far.

Health workers have drawn up a list of 628 people who have had contact with known cases who will need to be vaccinated.

“It’s really the detective work of epidemiology that will make or break the response to this outbreak,” Salama said.

The disease was first discovered in Congo in the 1970s. It is spread through direct contact with body fluids from an infected person, who suffers severe bouts of vomiting and diarrhoea.

More than 11,300 people died in an Ebola outbreak in the West African countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone between 2013 and 2016.

Australian authorities are in the hunt for 50 athletes and officials who disappeared during the Commonwealth games, some without even participating in the games held in the Gold Coast.

Australia authorities searching for missing athletes after Commonwealth Games 2018

The country’s home affairs minister confirmed the search, saying officers had been deployed to find the missing athletes and “take them into immigration detention and eventually to deport them”.

He said that another 190 people had sought protection visas, a class of visa in Australia assigned to refugees. A further fifteen have applied for other types of visas.

While some participants at major international sporting events overstay their visas or seek asylum in the host countries, the number of claims in Australia following this year’s Commonwealth Games, held April 4-15, is high.

Participants who went missing or sought refuge at previous Commonwealth Games, such as those held in Melbourne in 2006 and Manchester in 2002 and Glasgow in 2014, typically numbered in the dozens, not hundreds, according to government statements at the time.

More than 6,600 athletes and officials attended the 2018 event held in April.

Some of the athletes, including those from Cameroon did not show up for their events.

Dutton said on Tuesday under immigration law, people who apply for temporary protections visas are given bridging visas, which allow them to stay in Australia while their claims are processed.

Asylum seekers are a highly contentious political issue in Australia, which has a policy of stopping the flow of such people before they land in the country. Its policy of sending asylum seekers for processing to camps in Papua New Guinea and Nauru has drawn criticism from the United Nations and international rights groups.

Australia defends its tough laws by saying it deters people from making dangerous sea journeys to try to reach its shores after thousands drowned.
US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday there was a “substantial chance” his summit with Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong Un will not take place as planned on June 12 amid concerns that Kim is resistant to giving up his nuclear weapons.

Meeting with Kim 'may not work out for June 12' - Donald Trump

Trump raised doubts about the Singapore summit in talks with Republic of Korea (ROK) President Moon Jae-in, who came to Washington to urge Trump not to let a rare opportunity with the DPRK slip away.

If the summit is called off or fails, it would be a major blow to what Trump supporters hope will be the biggest diplomatic achievement of his presidency, and a huge disappointment for the president himself.

“There’s a very substantial chance ... it won’t work out. And that’s OK,” Trump told reporters. “That doesn’t mean it won’t work out over a period of time. But it may not work out for June 12. But there is a good chance that we’ll have the meeting.”

Trump said whether the meeting will be held as scheduled will be determined “pretty soon.”

“North Korea (DPRK) has a chance to be a great country and I think they should seize the opportunity,” he said.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo later told reporters the Trump administration was still planning for a June 12 summit, but he declined to predict whether it would actually take place.

Trump’s Oval Office remarks were the strongest sign from him yet about the possibility of a delay or cancellation of what would be the first-ever summit between the leaders of the US and DPRK.

It was unclear whether Trump was truly backing away from the summit or whether he was strategically coaxing the DPRK to the table after decades of tension on the Korean Peninsula and antagonism with Washington over its nuclear weapons program.

The original purpose of Trump and Moon’s meeting was to fine-tune a joint strategy for dealing with Kim. Instead it has become more of a crisis session after Pyongyang last week threatened to pull out of the planned summit.

The White House was caught off guard when, in a dramatic change of tone, the DPRK condemned the latest US-ROK air combat drills, suspended North-South talks and threw into doubt the summit with Trump if Pyongyang was pushed toward “unilateral nuclear abandonment.”

Moon keen for summit

Aides said Trump has privately been wondering whether Kim is serious about the summit after the abrupt change in tone.

Moon told Trump in their private talks that there was no need to doubt the DPRK’s will to hold a summit, a ROK government spokesman told reporters.

US officials have privately expressed concern that Moon, eager to make progress with the DPRK, may have overstated Kim’s willingness to negotiate in good faith over the dismantling of his nuclear arsenal.

Moon was optimistic about the summit in his Oval Office remarks. His national security adviser, Chung Eui-yong, told reporters en route to Washington that he believed there was a "99.9 percent chance" the Trump-Kim summit would take place as scheduled.

Moon said he realized many were skeptical in the US about the summit, "but I don’t think there will be positive developments in history if we just assume that, because it all failed in the past, it will fail again."
Designed by a French startup SeaBubbles, the "flying" water taxi was tested in River Seine in Paris on Tuesday. Because the taxi is propelled by an electric battery system, it generates no emissions and is 100 percent eco-friendly. Despite the taxi being able to "fly" at a maximum speed of 51 km/h, it can still glide through the water silently and causes no waves in the river. Would you hail a flying water taxi?

The seventies are strange dates in terms of film production. While the dream of May 68 and June 69 are fading, there are traces of the answer -both or more extreme- that began in the previous decade, at the same time that puritanism, the vulgar sense of the show and the conservatism of the Reagan era.

Sex and social criticism in the alternative cinema of the seventies

Frame from the movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" by Jim Sharman (1975).

These are the years in which "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975) by Jim Sharman appears. Under the guise of an independent musical comedy, the film hides a veiled attack on the conventional heterosexual couple and institutions such as psychiatry, in addition to revisiting in drag the monster of Frankenstein. Musical numbers inspired by Esther Williams and Busby Berkeley, transvestism, camp and above all an invitation to hedonism and the revision of the horror that continues to cause "the queer" in post-Stonewall American society. The conventional couple that takes refuge in the castle populated by "freaks" is that couple who are going to bring us films that already announce the moral rearmament of the 80s as "Love Story" or "Champion".

They are also the years of "Tarde de perros" (1975), starring Al Pacino ("A la caza") as a friendly and bisexual bank robber who is cornered by an incredible police deployment when with the help of another colleague. Assault a bank branch, creating mediatic expectation. Although the approach is not entirely convincing (Lumet wants to create, above all, an action movie), the idea of a bank robbery to pay for a sex reassignment operation is at least disturbing for the year in which it was made. In front of the courteous robbers, we found bank employees, sometimes gray, betraying, faint-hearted and unsupportive and a police device willing to do everything to achieve their ends.

The 70s are also the years of Ken Loach's "Family Life" (1971), a reflection of Cooper and Laing's ideas about antipsychiatry and the nuclear family as one of the foci of mental imbalance. Although the film is somewhat insipid and does not fully delve into the ideas of antipsychiatry, it is already a breakthrough as is the great "A woman under the influence" (1974) by John Cassavettes, who in that decade made his most personal films ("Gloria" "Opening night), helped by the talent of Gena Rowlands who gives life to a sensitive working class woman whose breakdown is progressively and with soft tragicomic touches and a true portrait of the social environment.

In the 70s Woody Allen brain that includes for the first time a pair of lesbians in his mythical and evocative "Manhattan" (1979), shot in nostalgic black and white and, although almost all, if not all, his films are of a marked heterosexism his vision of the vital, labor and loving anguish of the common urban man turn it into a new voice that goes from the gross and irreverent comedy to the most intellectual cinema.

And it is in the 70s when Bergman performs the demolishing "The Egg of the Serpent" (1977), on the aftermath of Nazism, and the claustrophobic "Of the Life of the Puppets" (1980), an unattractive view of existential angst .

Bob Fosse performs the mythical "Cabaret" (1972) that still remains today as a musical camp, groundbreaking and legendary that from the ugly vindicates the vulnerable actress and at the same time something vampire and the sensitive and gay writer, all in a comedy key nostalgic The character of Sally Bowles is one of the most adorable "mariliendres" in the history of art. The pen of Christopher Isherwood ("Goodbye to Berlin") and the camera of Fosse send a message of sincerity at the same time as a somewhat ambivalent look at the broken Berlin between the wars.

In the 1970s the Canadian Cronenberg made what are still his most daring films in terms of the union of sexuality, the new flesh and the "gore" terror. With films like the crude ones "They came from within ..." (1975), "Rabia" (1977) or "Chromosome 3" (1979) links evil and destruction to the growing repression of the sexual impulse as well as invites us to think about new physicalities to the monstrous but of a strange and disturbing bizarre beauty.

The 70 are the years in which the Spanish dictatorship falls and the uncovering begins. Eloy de la Iglesia performs, among others, "The hidden pleasures" (1977) challenging the still in force Law of Social Danger or "The Deputy" (1978) denouncing the homophobia of right and left, as well as the emergence of neo-Nazi groups.

The 70 years in which many of those who today have fallen into overproduction and complacency made some of their most radical proposals. This is the case of Terence Mallick with his wonderful "Malas tierras" (1973) where, from the demystification, he approaches us to a "Bonny and Clyde" pessimistic, small-town, bloody and somewhat schizo, whose protagonist mixes ingenuity and nihilistic challenge assaulting many of the current taboos, imitating icons still in force and ahead of François Ozon of "Lovers criminals".

In that decade shine the first pro-gay films are incredibly shy but there are also little-known bets like Waters, Kenneth Anger, Jack Smith, Shirley Clarke, Andy Warhol or Paul Morrisey, songs to male beauty but also challenges to a society based on appearances and exaltation young people and racial and sexual minorities. In the independent cinema Peter Watkins narrates with great crudeness the effects of the war of Vietnam in a film of unprecedented verismo "Punishment Park" (1971).

The Italian cinema lives a particular splendor although its teachers begin to take refuge in their private worlds and to accentuate their obsessions taking them to the extreme as Visconti with "Death in Venice" (1971) or "Confidences" (1974), Pasolini with "Salo" (1975) ) or Fellini with the "Satyricon" (1969), now considered a classic non-heterosexual cinema or Pasolini with its particular social fables of literary air.

In England, Losey challenges new taboos in films such as "Una Ingles Romantica" (1975), and the angry young people who seem to disappear continue to present us with rebellious and sometimes pioneer films in their approach to homosexuality or bisexuality as "Domingo, maldito, Sunday "(1971) by John Schlesinger or the first Ken Russell films - among which" The Wild Messiah "(1972) - which will mentor Derek Jarman as well as perform and homoerotic revisions of the world of DHLawrence or the ancient demonic myths rooted in the religious imagery of the Middle Ages.

In Germany are the years in which Fassbinder reaches its peak with pioneering films about transvestism and transsexuality as "A year with thirteen moons" (1978) or visions from a class point of view of the homosexual world as "The law of the strongest "(1974) or virulent requests against racism and environmental misery in" We all call ourselves Ali "(1974).

The coda to this route is set by Derek Jarman with his sexually explicit (then considered pornographic) "Sebastiane" (1976), where he vindicates the homosexuality of the Christian martyr while reveling in the beauty of male bodies and, above all, Barbara Hammer that with the subsequent "Nitrate Kiss" (1985) invites us to a world made from and for lesbians, with undoubted references to Monique Wittig and the independent and underground cinema of the moment.

And they are also the years of the cheesy and macho "Grease" (1978), the pretentious "The mechanical orange" (1971) or the effective but politically ambiguous "Taxi Driver" (1976), but they are also the years of the first and more personal works of great authors such as André Techiné (with an exquisite photograph with natural light and a Charlotte Brontë extremely butch) or Chantal Akerman confronting nude women in their exercise of contracine in "Je, tu, lui, elle" (1974) or Alan Tanner with "Mesidor" (1979) a melancholic precedent of "Thelma and Louise".

In Latin America highlights, among others, Ripstein, who courageously adapted Donoso's novel "The place without limits" (1977) getting one of the best films on machismo, homophobia, transvestism and prostitution in rural environments dominated by the hypocrisy and caciquismo.
We all have that friend who feels if you stop following him in a social network. Instagram, like Twitter, allows you to silence them so you do not see their activity and avoid hurting their feelings.

Instagram allows you to silence annoying accounts and avoid the 'unfollow'

Instagram knows that you want to stop following your friends but avoid losing the link, so he launched the function of silencing accounts .

Very similar to the tool of the same name on Twitter, on Instagram users can now silence accounts that follow to stop seeing their posts in the feed and in the Stories,  without having to stop following those accounts and let their authors know that you stopped them - the dreaded unfollow .

Instagram says that this is not a new form of blocking, but quite the opposite: when you mute an account, you can still see their profile - and that person yours - and you can receive notifications of answers or labels. The silenced account, or in any case its owner, will not know when it will be silenced and at any time you can remove the "mute" to return to see its publications.

To mute an account, just press the three points in any post of the account to be muted. There you can choose between silencing publications or publications and Stories. This function will come gradually from today to all users on iOS and Android.
The former president and the first lady will produce series and documentaries, among other things for the platform of 'streaming'.

Barack and Michelle Obama to produce series for Netflix

Barack and Michelle Obama left the luminaries of the White House and political life for the Netflix set.

On Monday, the streaming service said in a tweet that the former president and the former first lady of the United States join Netflix as producers of series and documentaries. Netflix did not give details of the scripts or the release of this content, making it clear that it is a recent fix.

According to The New York Times , the Obama created Higher Ground Productions, a company that will be explicitly dedicated to producing content for Netflix. The content created by the Obamas and their study will be related to problems and issues that Barack Obama addressed during his eight years as president of the United States, according to the Times .

"Barack and Michelle Obama are among the most respected people and most recognized public figures and have a privileged position to find new stories of people who make a difference in their communities and seek to improve the world," said Ted Sarandos, Content Director at Netflix to the Times . "We are happy that they have chosen Netflix as the home of their formidable stories."

The arrival of the Obama to Netflix will be a blow to Amazon and Apple, two companies that supposedly also wanted to do content in the hands of the Obama. Since March, the Times itself  reported that Obama would produce content for Netflix .
President Donald Trump uses not one, but two "designed in California" phones, an emblem that for several years Apple has inscribed on the back of their iPhone phones . The problem is not that he uses the telephones of one of the companies that he attacked most during his electoral campaign , but that the executive does not follow the security protocols established by the White House.

Trump uses two iPhones and does not follow security protocols

A report from Politico assures that the executive has an iPhone only with the Twitter application and some pre-loaded news websites, and another just to make and receive calls. Both devices have been given to the president by the Office of Information Technology and Telecommunications of the White House.

The problem is that Trump apparently does not stick to the strict security measures that their phones must pass. According to the source, the president's assistants would have been insisting for more than five months to change his phone to use to see Twitter and the news, although the executive always has the same answer: "it is too inconvenient."

It is unknown exactly what is the security protocol maintained by the White House over the phones of President Trump, although Barack Obama passed inspections every 30 days, Politico speculates that Trump did not want to submit to the same regularity, which would bring disadvantages, especially for the telephone of calls, that unlike the one that used his predecessor, has camera and GPS, something that can be used by hackers and put in check the security of the president.

The addition of the president to Twitter and his reluctance to pass security protocols, is far from his criticism of Hillary Clinton in 2016, when he assured that the email servers of the candidate to the White House were easy to hack and did not have the Necessary security protocols, action with which he reproached him had endangered the entire country, according to Politico.

When Barack Obama came to the White House, he asked his technicians to find a way to keep his BlackBerry , and even a way to have a phone where he could get out of the White House bubble and his strict security protocols. . However, the executive obtained a phone without a camera, without the ability to send text messages or GPS, with which he basically could not do everything he wanted, according to a 2016 interview with Jimmy Fallon.
This computer has a larger screen, better graphics and very thin bevels.

Razer Blade 2018: The new videogame laptop is sharper than ever

The thin and powerful Razer Blade video game notebook undergoes the biggest redesign to date.

We have always liked the 14-inch Blade for its subtle design, backlit keyboard of varied colors and general skills for gaming. But the screen had thick edges which made it look somewhat dated, and the GPU had an Nvidia  GTX 1060 card  that is good for gaming , but it is not first class.

For the new version of Razer's flagship notebook, the 14-inch screen on the Blade increases to 15 inches without increasing body size. In fact, Razer says that this is "the smallest 15.6-inch gaming laptop in the world."

The biggest difference I notice are the thinner bevels that surround the screen, which gives the Blade a more modern look. If you compare the old and new models side by side, you will also notice that the rounded corners are now more angular.

The screen comes in versions 60Hz 4K or 144Hz 1,920x1,080 and the body is made of a single piece of aluminum, like a MacBook, and integrates a touchpad larger than in previous models.

The components have also been updated. The processor is a Core i7-8750H of eighth generation and you can choose between Nvidia 1060 or 1070. It has a steam chamber for cooling.

It has a backlit keyboard that you can customize. Like other products powered by Chroma, individual keyboard lights can reproduce 16.8 million colors, and patterns and designs can be programmed through the Razer Synapse app.

There is also the Razer Chroma Laptop Stand, a laptop rack that lights up with all kinds of colors.

If you have a laptop that does not have its own GPU, Razer has a new and cheaper version of its external graphics Core housing. The new Razer Core X is basically a large box with a slot for your graphics card and a 650-watt power source. You can connect it to your laptop through a Thunderbolt 3 and you already have a video game system. It costs US $ 299, in addition to the cost of the graphics card.

The new 15-inch Razer Blade is now available with a starting price of $ 1,899.

The executive president of the space company says that the projects of the Elon Musk empire share many resources with each other.

The Boring Company to build houses on Mars: SpaceX executive

It is good to have several companies that can share resources with each other - especially when you have a leader like Elon Musk with goals as bold as colonizing Mars.

The Boring Company, the Musk company that digs tunnels, could one day create the residences of what would be a Martian colony, according to SpaceX president and CEO of operations, Gwynne Shotwell.

"I think The Boring Company could be the way we will shelter people on Mars, we'll have to dig tunnels for people," Shotwell told  CNBC .

This makes sense since one of the key challenges of living on Mars will be the intense levels of radiation that the planet receives from space due to its lack of strong magnetic fields, which is what protects us from destructive particles on Earth.

To avoid exposure to lethal amounts of radiation, future Mars colonizers will have to be protected by a protective layer and several feet of Martian rock.

The Boring Company has already been busy digging tunnels under Los Angeles to create a new method of underground transportation at high speeds.

Shotwell added that much is shared within the Musk empire: SpaceX borrows Tesla's battery technology and SpaceX's planned Internet service could help connect the Tesla cars on the streets.
The executive also said that Mars is not the limit. It is, in fact, a first step to enter a new universe of alien concepts and science fiction.
"It's like what you see on TV shows: Firefly , Battlestar Galactica , Star Wars, I want to meet other people, or whatever they are called in. I think that should be the ultimate goal," he said.
According to 'The Wall Street Journal', some users have been closed the account without warning or explanation.

Amazon vetoes users who make many returns

Amazon's flexible return rule may not be as flexible.

The company prohibits the use of the platform by users who commit infractions, such as making too many returns, according to the Wall Street Journal . Some users are not notified of their violation.

Amazon has a free and easy return policy for some items, a tactic that has pushed physical stores to do the same to compete with the digital commerce giant. But it seems that the return policy of Amazon has a price.

Dozens of people have written on Twitter and Facebook to complain that Amazon has closed the account without warning or explanation, according to the Journal .

Paul Fidalgo said he was "exiled" from Amazon because of "excessive returns." Other people have said that they have been banned from the site for similar reasons.

A user tweeted a screenshot of the email Amazon sent asking him why he returned his orders.

Amazon vetoes users who make many returns

Buyers have complained about having been banned from Amazon for years. One client told The Guardian newspaper in 2016 that he was expelled from Amazon after returning 37 of the 343 purchases he had made. And last month, some members of Amazon Prime said on social networks that their Amazon accounts had closed without any explanation; Some threatened to initiate a lawsuit against the company.

Amazon's return policy does not tell customers that making too many returns would result in the closure of their accounts, but their terms of use say that the company reserves the right to close accounts at its discretion.

"We want everyone to be able to use Amazon, but there are rare occasions when someone abuses our service for a long period of time," said an Amazon representative. The royal wedding conquers Pinterest, but not Facebook

When Prince Harry marries American actress Meghan Markle on Saturday, May 19, everyone will have their eyes on them. After all, royalty has the talent to raise the standard of opulence for weddings so that then we all follow the route they have set.

For this reason, real lovebirds tend to dominate social media, some platforms over others.

Although Facebook mentions of the royal union reached their peak after the announcement of their commitment in November, content related to the royal wedding has reached 80,000 pins since April, according to a new analysis by  NewsWhip Analytics , as reported on Thursday  Fast Company .

Facebook may have a larger audience, but when it comes to all the real fanfare, Pinterest is king. Because 70 percent of Pinterest users are women, it's perhaps not surprising that more of their users are focused on the great day of Harry and Meghan.

In fact, Pinterest is considered the first destination for wedding planning. You can select everything from flowers to the wedding dress on Pinterest, which becomes very useful when you're trying to decide which is the perfect dress or choose which is the right cake.

Pinterest says that 40 million people plan weddings on the site each year. People who use Pinterest also save some 900 million pins about weddings and perform 378 million searches related to weddings every year.

Facebook is a better platform to share memes and articles and is not necessarily the best place to organize ideas for planning the perfect wedding.
The general director of the mail resisted the repeated requests of the president insisting that such action would require the approval of a regulatory commission, according to the Washington Post.

Trump wants to double what Amazon pays to US mail

Donald Trump wanted to force the director of the US Postal Service, Megan Brennan, to double how much the postal service charged Amazon , and also other companies, to deliver their packages,  according to The Washington Post .

Brennan has allegedly resisted taking this action, insisting that the arrangements are fixed in agreements and these need to be reviewed by a regulatory commission. In addition, she allegedly told Trump that the relationship of the postal service with Amazon has been beneficial for the mail and showed him slides with other companies, in addition to Amazon, who collaborate for deliveries.

Trump has frequently criticized Amazon , calling the use of the postal service company a "fraud" and attacking the company's lobbying. Last week Trump ordered an evaluation of the mail's finances, after weeks of accusing Amazon of not paying its fair share of the shipping costs.

Amazon has said that in 2017 it paid US $ 21,700 million in shipping costs, which include the classification, transport and delivery of packages. Analysts estimate that 40 percent of Amazon packages are delivered by the postal service, according to the Washington Post . However, it is not known exactly how much Amazon pays to the postal service every year.

Ebola outbreak in DR Congo is not an international emergency - W.H.O

The World Health Organization (W.H.O) has revealed that the ebola outbreak in Democratic Rebulic of Congo can be brought under control and is not an international public health emergency.

The WHO’s Emergency Committee through a statement on Friday said the rapid response had mitigated the risk from the outbreak which was declared 10 days ago and has killed 25 people since early April.

“Interventions underway provide strong reason to believe that the outbreak can be brought under control,” the committee said in a statement.

The committee chairman Robert Steffen however says that the “vigorous” response to the outbreak must continue.

“Without that, the situation is likely to deteriorate significantly,” he told a news conference in Geneva

According to Jeremy Farrar, director of the Well come Trust medical charity and an infectious diseases expert, the decision not to declare an emergency was “the right one for the time being,” but should be kept under review.

“We can’t predict how the outbreak will progress, and the WHO must keep the situation under frequent review and not hesitate to declare a PHEIC if the situation shows signs of deteriorating,” he said in a statement.

Three new cases of Ebola were later confirmed in Mbandaka on Friday, in a part of the city next to the Congo River.

The statement further alluded that  new cases had been reported on Thursday in the neighbourhood of Wangata, next to the river, and samples tested positive for Ebola. Another suspected case surfaced on Friday.

The outbreak, Congo’s ninth since the disease made its first known appearance near the northern Ebola River in the 1970s, has raised concerns that the virus could spread downstream to the capital Kinshasa, which has a population of 10 million.

The WHO was heavily criticised for being too slow to declare an international emergency during an outbreak in West Africa in 2013 to 2016. That epidemic spread mainly through Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. It killed more than 11,300 people and infected 28,600.

The WHO is expected to start sending 7,540 doses of the vaccine developed by Merck, enough to vaccinate 50 rings of 150 people 8,000 to 10,000 are expected to be vaccinated in the first phase.

When an Australian mother was told that one of her twin boys would require surgery for a congenital heart defect following his birth, she opted to legally kill him through late-term abortion rather than provide for his care. Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital proceeded to execute this 32 week old innocent child, accidentally injecting his healthy brother with the deadly drug instead. The wrong child had been targeted for extermination by an ultrasound technician.

After the mistake was discovered, the mother then had the son she originally intended to target killed during an emergency Caesarean section.

This statement was issued by the hospital:

“This is a terrible tragedy and the hospital is deeply sorry for the loss suffered by the patient and her family. We are conducting a full investigation and continue to offer the family and affected staff every support.”

Health Services Commissioner Beth Wilson said she had never heard of a mistake like it. “It would have been complicated, however that doesn’t mean the greatest care shouldn’t still be taken,” she told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

As the mother, the hospital, and the Australian government wring their hands over the lack of care in properly selecting the right child to kill, those of us who have managed to hold on to our humanity during this era of mass human slaughter know it never mattered which child died first.

Abortion is destroying everything good in this world. Millions of people, including ‘doctors’, have so embraced the destruction of human life that they are incapable of understanding what they are actually doing. If you can’t think of a good enough reason to kill a child following their birth, you shouldn’t be able to think of a good enough reason to kill them before.

Abortion is simply a euphemism for murder. If you have yet to be assimilated by the abortion culture, you have a duty to awaken your fellow human beings to the truth. If not you, then who?

The Appropriations Committee of the US House of Representatives unanimously rejected the elimination of sanctions against the Chinese telephone manufacturer.

Trump fails, for now, in his attempt to help ZTE

The Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives of the United States unanimously approved Thursday an amendment to a bill that would maintain sanctions against ZTE , rejecting President Donald Trump's defense of the Chinese telephone manufacturer.

This amendment "will prevent a foreign company committed to its government - and that ignores embargoes from infiltrating the devices and networks that are now indispensable to American life," said Maryland Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, author of the amendment, in a statement

ZTE, the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in the US UU ., Has been dealing with a denial order from the Department of Commerce, which prevents US companies from selling hardware or services. The seven-year ban forced ZTE to close its "main operating activities." This process is part of the government's idea that ZTE violated the terms of a 2017 agreement by not firing employees involved in the illegal shipment of US equipment to Iran and North Korea.

ZTE had been working to have the denial order revoked and had pinned its hopes on broader bilateral trade talks between the United States . UU and China. On Sunday, Trump sent a surprising tweet that asked the Department of Commerce to find "a way to get back to business, fast."

rump followed on Monday with a tweet saying that ZTE "buys a large percentage of individual parts from US companies" and that the company "reflects the largest trade agreement we are negotiating with China and my personal relationship with President Xi."

ZTE has become a fundamental part of the broader discussions between China and the US. US, the two largest economies in the world, on trade tensions and whether the two countries can avoid a trade war that could involve multi-billion dollar tariffs.

The White House and ZTE did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
A South African lady is still trying to figure out if it was a dream or real, after she got heavily battered by a total stranger all because she refused to give him her Number, Snenhlanhla Nonkuleko while sharing the horrible news on her page, said she was beaten so badly that she lost consciousness, And untop of that she lost her Phone and other valuables, All these just for a number? Can only Imagine, anyway read her post below!

Man Beats Lady For Refusing To Give Him Her phone Number

''Exactly 24 hours ago I found myself in a situation I have never thought I'd be in. A guy I DID NOT even know beat me up so much that he left me bruised both physically and emotionally. The guy's first ever words to me were 'may I have your number?' which I coldly responded 'cha, angithandi'- no, I don't want you to. The next thing I was seeing stars, the guy had punched me on my face, he tried to stab me but I blocked him with my hand which resulted into the cut I have on my palm. The guy kicked me calling me isfebe-a bitch until I passed out. I find it ironical that he would call me that considering the fact that I was in the situation because I had refused to give him my number. I spent the whole of yesterday moving between the clinic and the police station trying to explain how I was beaten by a stranger that felt entitled to be in my sacred space- to have my number. My phone and pepper spray got stolen in the process. I'm appalled by how stupid one can be. I find this to be so stupid that I've been laughing about it since it happened. Besides the fact that I hate sympathy, the laughter emanates from the anger that's boiling inside of me. I feel for my sisters-women. I understand that not all men are trash. But there must be something wrong with our society.''

Obese people are more likely to smoke - W.H.O

Obese people are more likely to indulge in smoking, a research conducted by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) shows.

IARC, a World Health Organization (WHO) agency, published the study on Thursday, noting that increased body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage and even waist circumference, were associated with “a higher risk of being a smoker, and with greater smoking intensity, measured by the number of cigarettes smoked per day”.

“Based on genetic markers of obesity, the study allows us to better understand the complex relationship between obesity and important smoking habits,” said Dr. Brennan, a genetic epidemiology expert with IARC, and one of the authors of the study.

Brennan added that the study showing the relationship between body mass and smoking also suggested that there was possibly a “common biological basis for addictive behaviours, such as nicotine addiction and higher energy intake”.

He went on to state that an understanding of this link could be useful in helping smokers quit the unhealthy practice.

According to WHO, smoking kills more than 7 million people each year.

While noting that most smokers have a lower body weight on average than non-smokers, the study stated that the prior gain weight after they stop smoking.

“However, among smokers, those who smoke more intensively, tend to weigh more,” said IARC.

IARC Director, Dr. Christopher Wild, said that “prevention of smoking is key to reducing the global burden of cancer and other chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes”.
Arsene Wenger says he nearly signed Messi, Ronaldo for Arsenal

Former long-serving Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger says he could have signed both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi during his time in charge of the North Londoners.

Wenger – whose 22-year reign at Arsenal came to a close at the end of the 2017/18 season last week – revealed how he tried to sign both players for the Gunners.

The French tactician said he had entered negotiations with Ronaldo’s representatives while he was still in his home country with Sporting Lisbon, but lost out to Manchester United, who came with a much better offer.

“He was here with his mother and we were very close. Then Man United came in and they had Carlos Queiroz at the time, who was their coach. United played against Sporting Lisbon and Ronaldo was outstanding and they signed him,” Sky Sports quotes Wenger.

“Once we were at £4.5m, we were still in negotiations. David [Dein] met with [agent Jorge] Mendes in Paris and he was representing Sporting, so we were very close. But Man United went to £12m, which we could not afford at the time,” he added.

Ronaldo went on to spend six seasons at Old Trafford before moving to Real Madrid, a duration in which he won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup and one Champions League trophy. He won his first Ballon d’Or while still at United.

Wenger went on to state that he registered interest in Messi and defender Gerard Pique at the time he bid for Cesc Fabregas.

“I met Cesc’s [Fabregas] parents and at the time we were interested in Messi and [Gerard] Pique as well. We tried for the three but of course, it didn’t work out…because of the agents.

“With Messi, Barcelona didn’t want to lose him of course and they made [the offer] that was needed to keep the player at the club.”

Messi and Rolando have since gone on to become the world’s best duo in the football world, both winning five Ballon d’Ors so far.
Pregnant girls to be banned from going to school in Sierra Leone

A West African court is set to examine a ban on pregnant girls going to school in Sierra Leone in a landmark case that campaigners say could strengthen girls’ rights across the region.

Sierra Leone introduced the ban in 2015 after a rise in rape, abuse and poverty during the deadly Ebola outbreak fuelled a spike in teenage pregnancies.

In a case filed by the women’s rights group Equality Now, the law increased the stigma surrounding pregnant girls and set thousands back in their studies.

A spokesman for the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) court in Nigeria’s capital Abuja confirmed the case had been filed and said it would give Sierra Leone 30 days to respond.

“This is a really big deal,” said Sabrina Mahtani, a researcher at rights group Amnesty International.

“I think this is an important opportunity for the ECOWAS court to set down in case law what the rights and obligations are of states regarding the rights of pregnant girls,” she told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

The Sierra Leone government said at the time of the ban allowing pregnant girls to go to school would undermine their ability to do well in class, expose them to ridicule and encourage others to get pregnant.

According to Mahtani the issue had also surfaced in other African countries such as Tanzania and Equatorial Guinea, although not all had explicit bans.

An official in Sierra Leone’s education ministry said she was not yet aware that a case had been filed, but that the government would defend their policy.

Speaking to Reuters on phone, Sierra Leone Director of non-formal education said “I am sure they will defend the ban,” said

Sierra Leone’s government spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.
